ABOUT THE CONTEST

It's been nearly a year since COVID-19 changed our world. 2020 had us looking for ways to cope and stay sane, and for many, this was found in our pets. Our (furry or otherwise) friends have brought happiness to so many in these trying times of isolation and uncertainty.

To celebrate the role pets have played in our lives over the past year, IPAC Nova Scotia launched a contest to recognize these little heroes. We’re calling it the Quarantine Companion Photo Competition™

Throughout the month of March, a friendly March-Madness bracket-style competition was held featuring photos of the pets of Nova Scotian public servants. Several rounds of voting were held to crown a winner.
